The idea for this blog started last year, when my friend Ryuuki-cat and I attended the Toronto Tea Festival. We tossed the idea around for a few weeks, making plans that never came to fruition.
This year, with the second annual Toronto Tea Festival looming just around the corner, I’ve decided to do it. Dive right in. All that fun stuff.
Something I want to discuss before we truly begin.
I do not feel that I am a tea snob. I don’t believe that the best way to drink tea is loose leaf out of a clay pot (Though I do enjoy loose leaf tea). I love tea of all kinds. Some of my favourites are Celestial Seasonings brand! Though, Red Rose can go away and never come back as far as I am concerned. I likely will be talking a lot about loose leaf teas that I come across though. I also don’t care if it is considered a “designer” tea or something more traditional. I love hot leaf juice in all its forms.
Anyways. I am looking forward to my first post which will be all about this year’s Toronto Tea Festival. It is spread out over two days this year; however, I will only be attending the Saturday due to other obligations. I am very much looking forward to it, however.
